Our commitment

FREE W-4 Helper is designed to be privacy-first. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your Social Security number. Your W-4 answers are used only in your own browser to generate a summary for you.

Information we do not collect

• Social Security numbers.
• Bank account or financial account numbers.
• User accounts, passwords, or login credentials.

Information stored locally

To let you move between questionnaire steps and the summary page, your answers are stored temporarily in your browser's session storage. This data never leaves your device and is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab, or when you click "Start over".

Analytics and cookies

We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site. We do not use this data to identify individual users.
